Kathleen Hogan, EPA Climate Protection Partnership Director and IEE Advisory Board member, has accepted the post of Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) at the Department of Energy.  Dr. Hogan will begin her tenure at EERE on October 13.  

The Institute welcomes this fantastic news for the energy efficiency community. Dr. Hogan's leadership will have a tremendous impact on the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy going forward. 

The Institue would like to congratulate Dr. Hogan on the appointment and thank her for her continued involvement in the leadership of the IEE.
