Institute for Electric Efficiency Strategy Committee Meeting

IEE hosted a meeting for the Strategy Committee on Thursday, March 4,  2010, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C. (in conjunction with EEI’s Board and Chief-Executive Meetings).

The agenda included discussions of the State Energy Efficiency Action Network, potential Home Star legislation and the role of utilities, new directions and innovations in energy efficiency, educating customer about the benefits of smart meters, an update on IEE's ongoing energy efficiency communication plan, IEE's partnership with MIT's energy efficiency strategy project, and an outlook for EM&V issues in the coming year.
